Alesha says: “I look forward to investigating and challenging our perception of female beauty in 21st century Britain. The image of the female form is becoming increasingly divorced from reality, and I want to make people aware of the pressure society is subjecting us girls to.”
With air-brushing, digital retouching and enhancing firmly in the public’s consciousness, the film explores whether the photos in these magazines are a celebration of the female form or damaging to woman's opinions of themselves.
