
CALINA BIOGRAPHY
USA born, Calina Zadravetz continues to be one of the most sought after photographers in London who embodies all of the cosmopolitan and cultural influences that surround her.
This amazing talent has been creatively active as a photographer for nearly ten years. During this time she has traveled, worked and lived throughout Africa, India, Europe and America, founded and produced the current urban music magazine ‘Undercover’ as head photographer and Art Director, exhibited work as part of The London Hip Hop Festival and was selected to publish and exhibit her photography within ‘The Big Issue Book of Home’.
Calina’s photography so far has taken in some of the most loved urban music lyricists, including the likes of 50 cent, LL Cool J, Jay Z, Ja Rule, Ludacris, De La Soul and R Kelly to name a few. Calina has also recently worked in conjunction with Sadler’s Wells to create the imagery for ‘Breakin’ Convention’ the first hip hop performance embraced by the eminent theatre company.
Calina Zadravetz photographic work has been published in a number of high profile publications including, ‘The Guardian’, ‘The Times’, ‘The Evening Standard’, ‘TNT magazine’, ‘Time Out’, ‘What’s On In London’ and many popular urban music magazines around the world. Hence, her latest project, S.O.U.L (Speak Of Ur Life) photographing urban youth throughout the UK and USA to publish life experiences through their words and imagery. Thus being a way to help young people express themselves and concentrate on a positive project, which aims to add to their sense of self worth and achievement.
